On a Tuesday in early September of 2010, I decided to hit the road and visit some of the Southwest’s great canyons. I rode from Santa Maria, Ca to Williams AZ the first day.. then got up early the next morning to visit Grand Canyon and then on to Canyon de Chelly where I spent the second night. Then over to Chaco Canyon in New Mexico the third night. I spent the weekend at a BMW rally in Sipapu, NM.. then Sunday on into Colorado to Durango. From there I went to Monument Valley, Marble Canyon and Glen Canyon. Finally headed back home after visiting 6 states and covering about 3,500 miles.
